Panic attacks is one of the most frequently experienced disorders in the world. It is estimated that 4 or 5 out of a hundred people are severely affected by it, in one way or another. Because of panic attacks, a casual mood can turn into an eye-popping, jittery, can’t sit-still-on-the-chair mood, like what a husband feels when he’s eagerly waiting for his wife to give birth to their child.

For feelings that deliver us good, we expound ways to improve it further. For feelings that deliver us harm and pain, we also try to minimize it or get away from it as much as we can. Anxiety is no exception. There is no need to totally eradicate harmful feelings because at least some of them are not 100% harmful. In small ways they also do us goo. The idea is to control and not be controlled. Let us take fear as an example
Fear, as you know, is one of the most infamous feelings we have as human beings. It is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) deterrents to our success. Yet in spite of the negative perception we may have about fear, it also has its little good side. Fear prevents us from getting hurt, both physically and emotionally. The “little” fear inherent within us is actually good for us. We need that “little” amount of fear. It prevents us from getting too aggressive.
The same is true with panic. A “little” panic can serve as a form of defense. But being engulfed with excessive panic may hinder you from performing your normal activities and may deter you to take action especially on not-so-common activities.
However if you have only one option to facing a panic attack, like it or not, you have to find the right approach to contain such attack and suppress this discomforting feeling.
Panic attacks are actually a product of the mind, an imagination of a perceived threat or danger that can be controlled. In reality, such danger does not exist. Even the worst scenario that you can perceive under these circumstances are not life threatening.
Life is too short to be preoccupied with anxieties that hinder your growth.

Panic Attack: How I Eliminated Panic Attacks From My Life Forever
My first encounter with a panic attack came at the age of twenty-nine. From what I've learned from reading and by talking to other panic attack sufferers, this was later than usual. Most panic sufferers that I've spoken with or read about had their first panic attack either in their teens or early twenties.
Mine occurred whilst I was driving to see my parents one Friday evening in June 1985. Thinking back, aside from the usual panic attack symptoms, I think the most terrifying part was that I didn't have a clue as to what was happening to me. I'd never, up to that point, experienced anything so intense and frightening.
I have heard that some people suffer one isolated attack and then it goes away forever. This wasn't to be in my case, after that first incident, I started having panic attacks very frequently whilst travelling and this led me to developing a phobia toward travelling by any form of transport.
Probably, the worst thing about my panic encounters was the fact that they would strike me, seemingly, out of nowhere and for no apparent reason. I could be feeling fine one moment and the next I’d be facing yet another appointment with terror.
I searched for many years for a panic attack treatment that would eliminate these attacks, and my subsequent anxiety disorder, from my life but to no avail. Everything I tried, and believe me I tried so many things that I can barely remember most of them either did nothing or made my condition even worse.
Eventually, after becoming agoraphobic and unwilling and unable to fight my condition any more. I more or less resigned myself to being housebound for the rest of my days and finally admitted to myself that I had a problem. At the time I didn’t realize it, but looking back now, this was when the healing began. I no longer became stressed by forcing myself to go out and I stopped kidding myself that one morning I would wake up and all my troubles would have faded away during the night.
Call it coincidence, but just at the point where I was ready to really start getting better, I found the tool that allowed me to say goodbye to my panic attacks forever. And it did it in a matter of just a few short hours. In addition, for the first time in oh so many years, I began to feel my anxiety starting to slip away.
Panic attacks, panic disorder, anxiety disorder and agoraphobia stole everything that I loved about my life and turned each day into a nightmare. But I wasn't the only one affected. Their effects upon me altered the lives of my family and friends too. It can be conquered. It can be cured.

How to get the most from membership sites
They are everywhere and every marketer is creating them, a lot of them are offeruing low cost trial's of their membership sites but there is only so much time that a person can sit in front of their computer, connected to the internet. I, fortunatekly have a broadband connection and my computer is hooked to the internet 24 hours a day. But at times, when a lot of people are surfing, the connection can become real slow. and yet there are still people that only connect using a dial up account.
so, How can you take advantage of one of these trial accounts for a membership site. one of the many ways is by using an offline browser. When i first take advantage of a new mebership on one of these sites I'll connect with my offline browser which downloads the site to my own computer and then i can surf the site on my own time. When one of these browsers downloads a site to your system it changes all the links so there is no difference from using the site on your own system as opposed to using it while online. except for the fact that on your own system you won't have to worry about surfing the net when everybody else is. The duplicate site on your own system will run much more smoothly and faster. Now one thing to keep in mind is that some of these site's when downloaded could take up a gig of space or more on your own hard drive but usually i transfer these sites to a DVD via my DVD burner.
The only time i'll remain a member to one of these sites after my trial has expired isif I feel that the new posts will be something that i'll benefit from. So far very few have met this criteria but one of the ones i stay a member is the one run by Dan Kennedy. He sends out newsletters both via email and a hard copy once a month in the mail.
I just signed up for one trial tonight which offered a trial mambership for the first month of only a dollar. If I decide to stay a member past the first month the membership is just under $30 per month but if I don't monitor myself these memberships can add up.
The beauty of a trial membership and an offline browser is that once my trial has expired I still have akll the information that was offered for a lower price. I also want to mention that a lot of these marketers never purge their database of the old memberships that don't remain membbers. What this means is that your username and password will still work a year or two later even though you never kept paying a membership fee.
If i had a membership site i would make the password change every month. Give everybody the same password instead of letting them create their own.

Gold and Silver Maple Leafs Get New Packaging
Gold Maple Leafs and Silver Maple Leafs are receiving packaging makeovers, changes clearly mandated by investor disfavor with packaging that the Royal Canadian Mint has used since the coins were introduced. Gold Maple Leafs debuted in 1979, Silver Maple Leafs in 1988. The changes appear to be good moves, which should increase sales of Silver Maple Leafs and help keep Gold Maple Leafs the preferred pure (.9999 fine) gold bullion coins.
Don't Pay Too Much for Gold and Silver Coins
Since inception, 1-oz Gold Maple Leafs have been packaged ten to a tube. Because Maple Leafs are 24-karat, pure gold, they are "soft," relative to alloyed gold coins, such as American Gold Eagles and Krugerrands. Further, because of the design of the coins and the tight-fitting tubes, it is difficult to remove, inspect, and reinsert 1-oz Gold Maple Leafs in their tubes without scratching the coins.
Actually, reinserting Gold Maple Leafs without at least some scratching is nearly impossible. Further, if the persons inspecting the coins do not know how easily the Gold Maple Leafs are damaged, needless damage often occurs while the coins are out their tubes.
Gold Maple Leafs carry the image of Queen Elizabeth II on the front, with a flat, clear field alongside the image. The backs have the outline of a maple leaf, hence the coins' names. The problem arises from the coins' really sharp milled (reeded) edges. When the coins are reinserted in their tubes, the milled edges often scratch the fields.
Then there is the problem with investors who like to "heft" their coins "to get a feel of them." If they put four or five Gold Maple Leafs in the palms of their hands and "clang" them, the damage can be quite severe. Should a Gold Maple Leaf be dropped, rim damage is almost guaranteed.
As Gold Maple Leafs have been sold into the secondary market, damaged coins have become such a problem that Gold Maple Leafs have lost popularity with investors. The problem has become so widespread that many wholesalers bid only "melt" for Gold Maple Leafs, regardless of their condition. By paying only "melt," wholesalers can profitably resell the coins for industrial or jewelry purposes if no buyers are found for the coins.
Gold Maple Leafs, like the Gold Eagles and the Krugerrands, are bullion coins, which trade for the value of their gold content, plus small premiums. Damaged Gold Maple Leafs do not mean a loss of gold; they contain an ounce of gold regardless of the scratching or rim nicks. Still, buyers do not like to receive damaged coins. This means that Gold Maple Leafs sold into the secondary market have to be evaluated for the degree of damage.
Some wholesalers refuse to take the time to individually inspect Gold Maple Leafs and separate them according to their condition. These are the wholesalers who generally will pay only "melt" for 1-oz Gold Maple Leafs, regardless of condition. Fortunately, the free market being what it is, there are still some wholesalers who will buy according to condition.
Yet the handwriting is on the wall: 1-oz Gold Maple Leafs in tubes will continue to lose popularity and probably will join Krugerrands, Mexican 50 Pesos, and Austrian 100 Coronas as basic bullion coins, which carry the smallest premiums in the bullion coin market. Still, the packaging makeover should fillip sales of new Gold Maple Leafs.
With the new packaging, each 1-oz Gold Maple Leaf will be encapsulated in plastic and suspended in the middle of a plastic card, somewhat as 1-oz gold bars are packaged. However, the plastic protecting the Gold Maple Leafs will be heavier and more durable than the plastic used with 1-oz gold bars. The new packaging should keep the coins from being easily damaged.
With the new packaging, the Royal Canadian Mint made another big change: 1-oz Gold Maple Leafs will now come 25 to a box, whereas the old packaging is ten to a tube. This change could further increase sales as 20 coins are common ordering units for gold bullion coins, because the world's most popular gold bullion coins--American Gold Eagles--come 20 to a tube. As a result of the change, investors wanting "complete original packaging" will move up to 25 ounces.
However, orders for small quantities mean the coins will have to be removed from their mint boxes--but still individually encapsulated--and put in other containers. The new packaging also will require more storage space for Gold Maple Leafs than for 1-oz gold coins that come in tubes.
Although 1-oz Gold Maple Leafs will be a little more cumbersome to handle, a large segment of the gold coin bullion market prefers pure gold coins. Gold Maple Leafs have long been the most popular 1-oz pure (.9999 fine or 24-karat) gold bullion coins on the market, and the new packaging should keep Gold Maple Leafs as the preferred 24-karat gold bullion coins. (The market for pure gold bullion coins is estimated to $2.4 billion annually.) The new packaging is expected to debut sometime in August.
New packaging for 1-oz Silver Maple Leafs has already been introduced. However, Silver Maple Leafs in their old packaging are still available. Since Silver Maple Leafs were introduced in 1988, they have been packaged twenty coins to a sheet, 200 coins in a box. Each coin was individually enclosed in plastic. The new packaging will be similar to the U.S. Mint's Silver Eagles packaging.
Silver Maple Leafs will now come 20 to a tube, 25 tubes to a container, and 500 coins to a "mint box." The new box will be made of durable heavy plastic, whereas the boxes of 200 are cardboard. The new packaging should make Silver Maple Leafs more competitive with American Silver Eagles, presently the most popular 1-oz modern silver bullion coins being sold.

Trying to learn all scales in all 12 keys leads to a feeling of overwhelm for most guitarists! It can take months to learn a scale to mastery in one key. Especially if you want to know that scale over the entire fretboard AND be able to improvise fluently with it. For some guitarists, just thinking that they need to do this in all 12 keys is too much. They just give up! Here is a much better approach…
1. Find out what the most common keys are for the style of music that you play.
2. List the keys in order. You will put the most common key at the top, and the least common key at the bottom.
3. Master the key that is at the top of the list.
4. Master, (one at a time), the rest of the keys on your list.

Appealing to Humanity
We are writing this letter to you in behalf of Gregory Reyes, who is due to be sentenced in your court on November 21, 2007.
We have been close friends of the entire Reyes family for approximately twenty years. We moved to San Diego from Illinois in 1988 when I became a partner in a golf shaft manufacturing company. My wife is a homemaker. We are the parents of two sons, and three grandchildren. I am now retired.
During my professional career, I traveled a good deal of the time, and this placed a tremendous burden on our family. It is for this reason, I am appealing to your humanity. Greg and Penny Reyes have two children, at very vulnerable ages. Taking their father away can only do more damage to this family than has already been done by the trial.
I don't believe the charges he has been found guilty| of warrant a prison sentence, and that for the good of the Reyes family, I hope you feel the same way. Putting Gregory Reyes behind bars will not serve society, but will indeed destroy a family.

Why We Designed Our Own NAS Servers For Use In Our Data Center
Over the past few years, we at Technetium, Inc. have had the opportunity to deal with Snap because of our model 14000 Snap servers. One day we installed new managed switches and the Snap Web-based management console would no longer operate. It would just hang at gigabit speed. To make a long story short, after exhausting all of my options on the Internet, I sent Snap technical support an email to try and resolve the problem. Here is their response:

To my dismay, they wanted $120 just to talk to me, and my bet is they wanted another $1,000 or so to upgrade the software. On their Website I could not find any way to buy support for this model any more. And by the way, to add replication between 2 of their Snap servers, it would cost something like $1,000 per box.
So, here we are, with 2 boxes, no support, and I'll bet that you can't even buy parts for it any more from Snap, much less anywhere else (maybe eBay?).
Off we go to buy new NAS replacements. Originally these 14000's were $10K apiece, for roughly 1TB of storage. All things being equal, I should be able to buy a NAS box for really cheap (yeah right!). What I found was that a high-quality NAS system that would do RAID 5 would cost between $3,500 and 4,500, not to mention that a 1TB Snap 520 would be over $5K. That is when we decided to build our own NAS servers!
With a great backround in PC/server hardware, it was easy for me to pick top-quality hardware and brand name components. I still have Pentium Pro servers that work! I chose the best hardware, put it in a rack mount server case, and voila! I have a NAS server. Here is the list of components:

Be Able to Hear and Walk Well Again
No matter how healthy or in shape you are you are still human that means that you can end up with hearing problems or walking problems or any number of other ailments caused by the deterioration of your body's normal abilities. The great thing is that modern science has allowed us to virtually defeat things like hearing loss and difficulty walking. Overcome The Fear Of Public Speaking
Even days before, you seem somewhat uncontrollable and disoriented. And when you get to the rostrum or stage, you just want the floor to swallow you up? That feeling that gives you the jitters and that you just want to back out?
Alas, you are not the only one. I guess that would relieve you a bit, knowing you are not an isolated case. A lot of people are horrified having to talk in front of a group of people. You share this social phobia of public speaking with just about millions out there. It is one of the worst fears people have, in fact, in surveys, it came out as the number one fear.
Public speaking is when you speak to a group of people in a deliberate manner either intended to influence, entertain or inform your listeners. And the fear of that is public speaking anxiety. There are lots of ways to overcome this fear and soar high with your public speaking engagements.
These few tips may help prior to your public speaking date. Have a mind set that 99% of your worries do not actually happen, and that leaves only 1% that they do. So if you set your mind that you will not fumble, then you won’t. Do not memorize verbatim. It will baffle you once you lose a word or two. Instead it is advisable to have pointers or notes. Pause regularly, in that way you don’t get to speak so fast.
Emphasize on points that you are more familiar with. This is a great confidence booster. And when you are led to negative thoughts regarding your public speaking commitment, redirect these thoughts and focus more on positives. In that way, it will also attract another positive outcome.
Hypnosis also helps public speaking anxiety. It has been used for many years now to relieve nervousness. The fear of public speaking is all in the mind, the sub-conscious mind. Because you foresee pessimistic things, you tend to feel those negative effects. Through hypnosis, the mind is reprogrammed to have a different view of public speaking. What gives you faith in a product that you are purchasing? Is it about the presentation for you, or perhaps you prefer to have a recommendation so that you are assured of the quality by someone else? For me, a product has to be accessible and it has to do or provide the service that I require of it. Some of them were simply links to other sites that might have scripts listed on them. One of the major most promising looking sites had loads of scripts listed on it, however I only needed one particular script and the deal there was that you had to sign up for monthly membership that would give access to all of their scripts. I had a problem with this because firstly I didn’t, as a new business want to increase my monthly outgoings unnecessarily for the sake of obtaining one hypnosis script that I required, secondly, I didn’t know who had written the scripts, if they were qualified hypnotherapists themselves or if they would be any good.
This was when I decided to start writing scripts of my own. As a qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner, I knew how to design my scripts so that they would be the most appealing to the subconscious mind of the client. I wrote them to include many different known hypnotic and language patterns with lots of embedded commands of the things you actually want the patients to do, also with metaphors and suggestions with hidden meanings.
Before I know it, I had written over 60 quality scripts, and now I would like to share them with you. There is a vast range, and you only pay for what you want, unless that it, you want the lot- in which case, you pay for the lot in one payment and receive them all in one go in the form of an e-book. Supporter of Gregory Reyes on his Court room Trial
I am writing in support of Greg Reyes to urge leniency in your sentencing. With all deference, he has suffered enough.
I am a corporate securities lawyer and have practiced law for 33 years since graduating from UCLA School of Law in 1974. I was (he first woman partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where I worked for 21 years, leaving in 2001. (I am not writing this letter on behalf of Wilson Sonsini. I am writing on behalf of Greg.) I am presently Executive Vice President, International Strategy & General Counsel at Obopay, a start-up company in the Bay Area which provides a mobile payments service. I have worked in the Silicon Valley for all of my career. While at Wilson Sonsini, I represented many companies, from start-ups to Fortune 100, including Sun Microsystems, LSI Logic, Coherent, VA Linux and many others. I have worked with hundreds of CEOs and executives of all types.
I represented Greg's father for approximately 21 years and got to know Greg during that period. In approximately 1994 (I can't remember the exact dates), Greg asked me to represent Wireless Access of which he was CEO. I worked closely with him from approximately 1994 to 1996 or 1997 and would have continued to work with him when he joined Brocade had I not represented a competitor. Greg was a very talented and effective CEO and worked tirelessly to make the business successful. His team respected him and he was a good leader. He cared a lot about the people who worked for him and they knew it. He lived and breathed the business, consulted with his Board regularly and constructively. He frequently expressed his desire to do what was in the best interests of his employees and shareholders. During the time I worked with him, he always acted ethically; I never saw him cross the line. He listened to advice, engaged in discussion to understand the advice, but he always took the advice given.
While I represented Greg his children were born. There has never been a more loving and caring father. He was so proud of them. He has also always been devoted to Penny and despite these difficult last few years, has provided strength and support to his family. This experience has humbled him greatly and nearly broken his spirit I think he has made it through because his family, especially his children, needs him to be strong.
I would like to relate a story about Greg which I believe reflects accurately Greg's character. In 1995 my son, Connor, was in 5th grade and needed to do a school project m which he interviewed someone, wrote an essay and then gave a speech in class about what he had learned. Greg agreed to be the interviewee. He spent an entire afternoon with Connor teaching him about wireless paging technology, dug up information for Connor to help him with his report, had his executives describe the technology and gave Connor a pager to bring to class. During Connor's presentation Connor sent Greg a page and Greg paged him back. The class (and teacher) loved it The pager was a huge hit (remember that this was before cell phones were ubiquitous) The experience made a huge impression on Connor and for many years after that Connor told everyone that he wanted to be a CEO like Greg Reyes. This was one of those simple experiences where someone takes time to help a kid that changes the kid's life. I will always be grateful to Greg for taking time out of his busy schedule to help my 12 year old son. The truth is, I think Greg loved doing it. He loves kids and enjoys helping them.
I have known Greg well for many years. While the jury may have found him guilty, I believe Greg believed that he was acting in the best interests of the company He is hard driving CEO who wants to succeed but I can't believe that he would intentionally break the law. Greg has already been punished severely and he faces yet more legal difficulties. I urge you to be lenient.
